Freyja Skye
Born and raised in germany, a couple of years of world traveling brought her to Canada six years ago. Her movement style blends a background in martial arts, years of professional training in Contemporary Dance, and a deep passion for Contact Improvisation.
In recent years she also fell in love with the circus arts, such as stilt walking, fire spinning and above all aerial silks – an enchanting discipline where the acrobat is suspended in the air on long stretchy fabrics.
Feeling the call of adventure, she left the dance studios of the city and took to the road to spread magic through movement. |

Saffire Skye
Met Freyja dancing in a kitchen, and has been dancing with her on the ground and in the sky since then. He shares a love of circus, dance, martial arts, and music, and is thrilled at the mere suggestion of collaborative, creative, circus theatre.
Equally at home in a tree as on the ground, Saffire excels in rigging between trees, lampposts, and pretty much anything that is 20 ft above the ground and can permissibly be climbed and thus rigged onto. Looking for a large sailboat….
Saffire, also known as Marley, has spent the last two summers performing aerial silks and touring festivals in the British Columbia and the United States. He co-founded the Elvolutionaries, and co-created, produced and performed in their traveling circus play “Root Tree Fruit and Seed”. |

Myrth the Magician
Also known as Noah, Myrth is a story-telling bard and magic maker. He travelled with the other Elvolutionaries on their United States tour, and currently resides in Ashland, Oregon.
Noah is a classically trained Shakespearian performer, with over 10 years experience as a professional actor and fight choreographer. Originally from the foothills of the southern Appalachians, Noah underscores the performance with a handmade Cherokee love flute and a 5-string Banjo. He took to the road to spread music, poetry, and puppetry and to inspire a more magical world.
